Terms of Service

Welcome to OurSociete. By accessing or using our website at oursociete.com ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use OurSociete. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

3. Creator Accounts

Creators on OurSociete must:

• Verify their identity with a valid government-issued photo ID
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with 18 U.S.C. 2257
• Only upload content they own or have rights to distribute
• Ensure all individuals depicted in their content are at least 18 years old

4. Subscriber Accounts

Subscribers may purchase subscriptions to access creator content. Subscription fees are set by individual creators. By subscribing, you agree to the recurring charges until you cancel your subscription.

5. Subscription Cancellation & Refund Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the following methods:

• Self-service: Navigate to your Account Settings and select "Manage Subscriptions" to cancel any active subscription immediately
• Email: Send a cancellation request to support@oursociete.com with your account email and the subscription you wish to cancel

Upon cancellation:

• Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
• You will not be charged for any subsequent billing periods
• No partial refunds will be issued for the remaining days in the current billing period
• You will retain access to the creator's content until the end of the paid period

Refunds may be issued at our sole discretion in cases of unauthorized charges, billing errors, or other exceptional circumstances. To request a refund, contact support@oursociete.com within 7 days of the charge.

6. Content Guidelines

You agree not to upload, post, or transmit content that:

• Depicts minors in any context
• Is non-consensual or depicts non-consensual activity
• Violates any applicable law or regulation
• Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Promotes violence, harassment, or discrimination

7. Payments and Fees

All payments are processed through our third-party payment processor. OurSociete retains a platform fee from each transaction. Creator payouts are made according to our payout schedule. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

8. Intellectual Property

Creators retain ownership of their content. By uploading content to OurSociete, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform.

9. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Download, copy, or redistribute creator content without permission
• Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the Platform
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Circumvent security features or access restrictions
• Use the Platform for illegal purposes
• Share your account credentials with others

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.

11. Limitation of Liability

OurSociete is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the preceding 12 months.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OurSociete and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
